Weed Management
Our ecological restoration team has worked extensively with invasive species control including managing the invasion of native plant communities by many environmental and listed weed species whether they are invasive trees, shrubs, vines, perennial grasses, annuals or succulents/cacti.
We apply weed control in a systematic and sensitive manner to ensure weeds are replaced with native species rather than by other weeds. Our methods promote the germination and growth of native species following primary (initial) weed control which is critical to the success of any restoration project. We balance primary, secondary (follow up) and weed control maintenance simultaneously utilising a wide range of current best practice weed control techniques. Our on-ground team ensure previously worked areas receive timely, systematic and accurate follow up and weed control maintenance to ensure all resources are used appropriately.
