Training
Ecosure’s ability to train and upskill anyone interested in ecological restoration is world class. Our ability to connect science with the practice of ecological restoration ensures that you will walk away from short or longer-term courses with a greater understanding of where on a site you can intervene to assist its recovery.
We have the capacity to include training on how to assess a site, understand the ecology and what influences a site’s recovery potential, develop your skills in plant identification (weed and native), weed control, threatened species and wildlife management, monitoring and evaluation. There have been many cases where forward planning, as well as training in current ecological restoration solutions, has saved Ecosure clients hundreds of thousands of dollars.
Ecosure’s Principal Restoration Ecologist Jen Ford has over 25 years’ practical experience in restoration and is one of only three accredited training assessors in Queensland for the Australian Association of Bush Regenerators (AABR). We can provide both theoretical and practical training for individuals and groups.
