At Ecosure, we’re passionate about preserving and restoring natural landscapes, and one of our latest project on Moreton Island is a great example
Ecosure has been contracted by the City as the principal contractor to undertake these works. This collaboration between the State Government and the City of Gold Coast aims to drive an ambitious and transformative environmental initiative. Ecosure is proud to lead this effort alongside delivery partners Regen Australia and Ngarang-wal Gold Coast Aboriginal Association. Federation Walk Coastal Reserve represents one of Australia’s largest beachfront rainforest restoration projects with the aim to establish a thriving coastal (littoral) rainforest in the heart of the Gold Coast. Funded by the Queensland Government in partnership with the City of Gold Coast and the Federal Government, this project promises significant ecological, social, and recreational benefits for the region.
In September, Ecosure attended the 10th World Conference on Ecological Restoration (#SER2023) held in Darwin, Australia. The conference, designed to offer broad opportunities for knowledge-sharing and participation across various ecological restoration themes, drew approximately 1000 delegates from all corners of the globe. Under the overarching theme of “Nature and People as One,” the event provided a platform for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and innovations in ecological restoration
The Balaam Hills Offset site is an approximately 18.3 hectares and is located within the Lockyer Valley Regional Council area. Ecosure began restoration works site in August 2013.
