In September, Ecosure attended the 10th World Conference on Ecological Restoration (#SER2023) held in Darwin, Australia. The conference, designed to offer broad opportunities for knowledge-sharing and participation across various ecological restoration themes, drew approximately 1000 delegates from all corners of the globe. Under the overarching theme of “Nature and People as One,” the event provided a platform for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and innovations in ecological restoration.

Jen Ford, Principal Restoration Ecologist at Ecosure, presented ‘Assisting the recovery of saltmarsh and coastal ecological communities – a trial and expansion of various low-cost techniques.’ This presentation highlighted Ecosure’s innovative approach to ecological restoration, demonstrating their efforts to find cost-effective solutions for restoring saltmarsh and coastal ecosystems, which are vital for both environmental health and human communities.
