Ecosure attends Rockhampton Energy Forum 2022

At Ecosure, we believe that renewable energy is the future of power and are fully committed to its development. We are excited about the possibilities that renewable energy can bring to the CQ region, through providing clean and sustainable energy sources.

Principal Scientist, Natalie Toon attended The Rockhampton Energy Forum that brought together industry leaders, investors and government representatives to discuss energy sector challenges, opportunities and trends. Held in the Queensland city of Rockhampton, the REF provided a platform for stakeholders to exchange ideas and devise solutions that can help strengthen the Australian energy market.

We recognise that business as usual is not an option anymore, and must embrace new technologies and solutions in order to protect our environment for generations to come. Renewable energy offers us a way forward – it’s cost-effective, reliable, and has little environmental impact compared to traditional fossil fuel sources.

This year’s forum focused on “Promoting and Strengthening the Australian Market: Building Investor Confidence and Driving Sustainable Growth in our Region.” Presentations from leading industry experts, panel discussions featuring key decision makers, networking sessions with fellow delegates, and case studies exploring success stories from across Australia were included.

We support initiatives such as solar panel installation and wind turbine utilisation which harness natural resources in an efficient way.  The forum also included the unique opportunity for local businesses to hear from Lance McCallum -Assistant Minister for Hydrogen Development and the 50% Renewable Energy Target by 2030.

As we look forward to the growth of this market in the region, we are excited about the opportunities it provides Rockhampton and its surrounding areas. The Ecosure team is committed to providing quality services in both the approvals and construction stages of renewable energy projects. We have significant experience in these fields and understand what it takes to create successful renewable energy solutions for communities across Queensland.
