The Department and Transport and Main Roads engaged Ecosure to assist the Fitzroy District Environmental and Cultural Heritage team with delivering a substantial program of infrastructure works since 2016.
Ecosure is currently providing the following services:
Pre-Construction:
– Provision of technical environmental advice
– Planning and carrying out environmental site inspections and assessments
– Compilation of Environmental Scoping Reports and Environmental Assessment Reports
– Providing input into construction contracts
– Compilation, submission and management of environmental authorities and development approvals.
Construction:
– Provision of technical environmental advice
– Review of Environmental Management Plans (construction) and review checklists to assess for compliance to MRTS51
– Review of Erosion and Sediment Control Plans and checklist to assess for compliance to MRTS52
– Review Soil Management Plans for compliance to MRTS16
– Auditing of project sites and management plans.
Post-Construction
– Post-construction audit of the Environmental Management Plan (construction).
– Compilation of Environmental Finalisation Report
– Close out defects and ensure all permits are surrendered.
Ecosure has also provided resources for Environmental Representatives and Fauna Spotter Catchers to Construction Companies such as Fulton Hogan, CMC, McIlwain, and SGQ.
