At the end of each financial year, Ecosure brings together all of its scattered employees for a day of meetings and training. This year it was held at Thunderbird Park on Tambourine Mountain. Nature at its best.
During this year’s meetings we focused on reviewing the past year, delving into the coming year’s strategy, looking at our company’s BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal), welcoming a guest speaker, breakout sessions, Health and Safety and a session on mental health.
This year we were honoured to have as a guest speaker Darren Grover, Head of Living Ecosystems at World Wildlife Fund who presented on 3 major WWF projects: Rewilding York Peninsular, SA Koala Friendly Beef and Eastern Quoll Regeneration.
Further time was spent in focused breakout sessions where employees were able to participate in activities and discussions including software tools used in the field, water bugs, fauna survey methods, plant identification, flying foxes and microbats, identification of call playbacks of various animals and vegetation monitoring.
The day ended with a party to celebrate another fabulous year for Ecosure.
