Scaling Up Ecosure's Executives Team
By Phill Bracks
The Ecosure Executive team were fortunate to recently attend the Scaling Up Summit 2023, held at Sydney’s International Convention & Exhibition Centre. Organised by Performance 7, and I must say it was an enlightening and transformative experience for me and the team. If you’d like to learn more about the summit, follow this link Scaling Up
As business leaders, we are all aware of the challenges we face in scaling our businesses. The Scaling Up Summit helped us gain insights into how we can overcome these challenges, and move towards building sustainable and successful businesses.
One of the keynote speakers at the summit was Verne Harnish, the founder of Gazelles and the author of the best-selling book “Scaling Up.” Verne emphasized the importance of applying the Rockefeller Habits in your business, which are a set of simple but effective habits that successful businesses use to achieve their goals. The habits include setting clear and measurable goals, having a rhythm of daily and weekly meetings, and tracking key performance indicators.
The Scaling Up Summit also had a wide range of guest speakers discussing topics including recruiting and retaining talent, Web3 marketing, leading through adversity, lessons from scaling mid-market companies and what you must do to improve the value of your company.
One of the highlights of the summit for me was the opportunity to network with other business leaders. I had the chance to exchange ideas and experiences with entrepreneurs from different industries and geographies. It was inspiring to hear about their journeys and the challenges they faced, and how they overcame them.
As I reflect on my experience at the Scaling Up Summit, I am more convinced than ever that scaling up our business is not just a matter of increasing revenue or expanding our operations. It is about building a strong and resilient organisation that can adapt to change, innovate, and create value for our customers and stakeholders.
