Katrin Lowe is a Terrestrial Wildlife Ecologist with over 18 years of experience in wildlife biology, ecological research, environmental consulting, and community engagement. Driven by a deep commitment to environmental conservation, she has worked across a broad range of ecosystems—from arid inland regions to coastal wetlands—throughout Australia and internationally. Katrin has conducted a wide array of ecological assessments, general biodiversity surveys, and targeted threatened species surveys, gaining extensive field and research experience across all fauna groups. Her work has spanned multiple roles and project types, contributing to a strong understanding of ecological systems and processes.
In addition to her technical expertise, Katrin brings strong leadership and coordination skills. She has led multiple teams on numerous ecological surveys across Australia, collaborating with colleagues, university students, Indigenous guides and rangers, international scientists, volunteers, and consultants. She is experienced in working with diverse stakeholders across government, industry, academia, and community sectors, ensuring effective communication and project outcomes.
