Searching for orphaned baby quolls

When Ecosure team member, Avery Keller, found a lactating female spotted-tailed quoll that had been recently hit by a car and killed, there was no time to lose in the effort to raise funds and launch a search for the possible denning site of orphaned young!

The amazing response to fundraising pleas was so quick that within just 16 minutes (!!) enough funds had been raised to engage a quoll detection dog team for the search. Ivell Whyte from the Wildlife Qld Quoll Seekers Network summarises below.
