General Manager
Diane Lanyon is a Marine Biologist and is the General Manager of Ecosure since 2017. Prior to this she managed the Rockhampton Office for three years and grew the team to be ‘the go to environmental consultancy’ in Central Queensland. Diane has worked as an environmental scientist in Honduras, Fiji, Solomon Islands and Australia.
Prior to working for Ecosure, Diane was the Rockhampton Regional Manager of the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority (GBRMPA). She has extensive experience managing community engagement programs and marine park planning, marine surveys in seagrass watch, turtle monitoring, coral reefs and invertebrates. Diane brings a wealth of international, government and project management experience to the company.
Diane has been the Project Director over our larger high-risk projects including the design phase of Panorama Drive in Yeppoon, Curtis Island Road Rehabilitation and the Shoalwater Bay Training Area vegetation management program, and client management with Defence, Rio Tinto and QAL. Through these projects Diane has demonstrated excellent skills in project management, establishing great client working relationships and delivering projects on time and on budget.
