Patrick has steadily gained experience in surface and groundwater quality monitoring, ecological surveys, bushfire management, vegetation management, GIS mapping and compliance monitoring, whilst maintaining a volunteering schedule including numerous marine debris clean-ups, wildfire responses and prescribed burning.
Patrick first gained conservation experience working within a Green Army team in Byfield National Park and was subsequently hired as a temporary ranger by Byfield Parks and Wildlife. He is passionate about the protection and preservation of the environment whilst also supporting primary industries and development.
Patrick displays excellent flora identification skills, is adept in safe 4WD operation, working in arduous conditions, exercising safety in the work place and is comfortable with labour intensive work.
