The Darumbal Trainee Ranger project is a partnership between Ecosure, Downer Defence and the Darumbal People Aboriginal Corporation. In late 2021, the project was launched at the Shoalwater Bay Training Area (SWBTA) in Queensland, to provide training and opportunities for Darumbal, the local Traditional Custodians.

Ecosure was engaged by contractors on behalf of The University of Queensland (UQ) to complete the aquatic salvage as part of the redevelopment plans for the 2.2ha man-made lake on the St Lucia campus. The iconic UQ lake and amphitheater is being transformed into a self-sustaining ecosystem that offers habitat for wildlife and more opportunities for people to enjoy the area.
The Queensland Government through the Department of Environment and Science (DES) has funded a two-year contract with Ecosure in partnership with six regional Natural Resource Management (NRM) groups, to deliver a range of services and products to assist landholders managing their Nature Refuge.

Ecosure has recently formed a Strategic Partnerships team headed by Diane Lanyon (Director of Strategic Partnerships). In 2018, Ecosure set a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG) of improving the ecosystems of 100 million hectares and 1,000 islands worldwide by 2030.

Teams from the Gold Coast, Brisbane and west of Brisbane Ecological Restoration team have been contributing to the recovery of the Melaleuca irbyana or weeping paperbark, which is listed as Endangered under Queensland’s, Nature Conservation Act 1992.
The Ridge to Reef Alliance connects First Nations Peoples with scientists to deliver whole-of-ecosystem restoration projects from the ridge line to the reef. The Alliance, led by Diane Lanyon (Ecosure General Manager), has partnered with Koinmerburra Aboriginal Corporation for the Koinmerburra Ridge to Reef Restoration Project.
Ecosure has been monitoring threatened species at a site in Northern New South Wales for 10 years. This long-term commitment helps ensure the conservation of threatened species populations. Target fauna groups are surveyed biennially, this year one of the focal groups was threatened bats.
